For AW21, Barbour Collaborates With a Bathing Ape for the First Time

End

Barbour and A Bathing Ape join forces for the first time, fusing Ura-Hara streetwear with heritage styling.

This season, A Bathing Ape and Barbour come together for the first time, with heritage British styling cast through a street-focused lens. Despite their different approaches to design, the two labels fuse their distinctive aesthetics seamlessly.

The Bedale wax jacket, for example, retains its waterproof properties and utilitarian appearance, only it’s transformed using BAPE’s famous camo pattern. There’s even a fully reworked version, which is updated with an additional hood and has large co-branding at the back.

The fusion of heritage styling and Ura-Hara streetwear isn’t just present with the outerwear, either — wardrobe staples like crews and tees are printed with co-branding at the front, with Barbour’s letter logo layered over that iconic ape head.
